White glove delivery sends your mobility scooter or power wheelchair to a mobility shop near you before it reaches you. The shop unpacks it, assembles it, charges it and checks it, then brings it into your home, places it where you want it and shows you how the controls work. You choose it on the product page. Most brands are $249 to $399, the Q Express is $600 and EZRaider includes it.

What white glove delivery includes
With standard delivery a freight truck leaves the crate at the curb and you unpack and assemble the scooter yourself. With white glove delivery we route the shipment to a mobility shop in your area that we arrange and pay. The shop does the work a dealer does before handing over a new scooter, then brings it to your door and inside. It works the same way for a power wheelchair.

White glove delivery is a paid option on most of the brands we sell. The price sits under Options and Upgrades on the product page next to the free curbside choice, and it is added to your order total when you pick it. These are the current prices by brand.

Afiscooter and Merits also have ready to ride listings where white glove is already in the price, so there is no delivery option to pick, for example the Afiscooter S4 and the Merits Pioneer 10. They are grouped in our white glove delivery collection. Brands not listed here, such as Porto Mobility, Bangeran and MIA, ship curbside. If you want in home setup on one of those, ask us before you order and we will check whether a shop near you can do it and what it would cost.
How to order it
On the product page choose White Glove Delivery under Options and Upgrades before you add the scooter to the cart. It shows in the cart and at checkout as its own line, so you can see what you are paying for. If you order by phone, tell us you want white glove and we add it to the order. Want to add it to an order you already placed? Call us at 1-888-233-5563 straight away, before the scooter ships.
How long it takes
White glove delivery adds a few days compared with curbside delivery, because the scooter goes to the shop first. Standard freight is in transit for 3 to 7 business days after it ships in the lower 48. Add the 1 to 2 business days the shop needs and the appointment you agree with them. If you need it sooner, rush delivery shortens the trip to the shop. In Alaska and Hawaii white glove is available where a local provider covers your address, and we quote it together with the freight.
In home warranty service after delivery
White glove delivery covers the day your scooter arrives. What happens if it breaks later comes from the manufacturer warranty, and that differs by brand. Some brands include in home service, where a technician comes to you for a covered fault with parts and labor at no charge. On Merits and Enhance Mobility it is a paid option. Other brands cover parts only. Then the part is mailed to you and we help you find a local technician to fit it. These are the in home service terms shown on our product pages.

In home service is for faults, not for maintenance or wear and tear, and a technician can take a few days to reach you in a rural area. It is not an emergency service. The full terms are on our Returns and Warranty page.
Cancelling or returning a white glove order
The white glove fee follows the cancellation and return rules on our Returns and Warranty page, so read them before you order. Tell us as early as you can if your plans change, because the local shop starts work as soon as it receives the scooter.

Yes. The shop calls you to agree a delivery time, and someone needs to be there to receive the scooter and be shown the controls. If you are not ready when they call, ask them to hold the delivery.
Tell us about steps, an elevator or a narrow door before you order. The shop needs to know what the path into your home looks like, because a heavy duty scooter can weigh well over 150 lb and some situations need a different plan.
Usually by a few days. Standard freight is in transit for 3 to 7 business days after it ships, the shop needs 1 to 2 business days to prepare the scooter, and then you agree the delivery appointment. Rush freight can shorten the trip to the shop.
In many parts of Alaska and Hawaii, when a local provider covers your address. We quote it together with the freight. Remote towns may not have a provider.
